The other tier 8s are a bit more gimmicky IMO and are going to be situational and besides I think the Kutuzov is the only other tier 8 that's actually available for purchase right now. That said, if you don't like battleships, I'd recommend the Atago which is still a pretty good earner. Plus it's fast enough that you don't get stranded in the corner. In general it's a pretty forgiving ship if you're comfortable with battleship tactics. I like the Tirpitz for this reason because even in a match where your team just drives in a straight line in front of walls of torpedoes and spends half the match exploring the border you're still likely to live long enough to do some damage and it's pretty uncommon for you to get deleted and never have had a chance to react.
